Free Tax Prep CLT is a volunteer-supported program organized by Community Link. We utilize IRS training materials to ensure that volunteers are trained to maximize tax income returns for low-to-moderate income households in Charlotte.

Volunteers were able to prepare 2,035 tax returns for the 2023 tax season!

The total refund amount was $1,973,682.. this money returns back into the local economy and impacts the community- the economic impact is $13,815,774 for Charlotte.

Tax appointments begin February 2025.
