Congratulations to Tameka Gunn on her recent promotion to Vice President & Chief Operating Officer of Community Link! Tameka started as a housing coordinator with the agency in 2007 and has worked in every Homeless to Housing service over the years. We strongly believe that promoting from within greatly strengthens our organization.

Tameka holds a B.S. in Human Services from Old Dominion University and a Master of Public Administration from Strayer University. Tameka understands how difficult it is for most disenfranchised people to stay in housing by gaining meaningful access to social services. Her passion for this work is all about family and community.

Congratulations to Lori Beullah on her recent promotion to Director of Homeless to Housing Services. Lori started as a Housing Case Worker with the agency in 2016 working in the 5 County Piedmont Region and is a certified Housing Quality Standards Inspector. She was promoted to Program Manager of Housing Coordination Services in 2020, working solely in Mecklenburg County.

 

Lori holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from Cleveland State University and an Associate in Applied Science degree in Culinary Arts from Johnson and Wales University. Lori is an advocate of the Housing First Philosophy and believes that a person has to have a safe, decent, affordable place to live before providing additional supports and services.

Congratulations to Emily Bellomo on her recent promotion Program Manager! Emily started as a Housing Caseworker with Community Link in 2020 and has been providing case management services to homeless families through a Collaborative Program with the City of Charlotte.

Emily possesses a Bachelor in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and is a Charlotte native herself.  Emily shares the belief that if we invest in the lives of others who are struggling with homelessness that we can achieve life-changing outcomes for the person, the family and the community
